ServiceNow/Nuvolo Developer 

We have an opportunity for a Nuvolo Developer to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will serve as the key technical resource leading the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow/Nuvolo implementation. The successful candidate will have fluency in ServiceNow and Nuvolo design and development principles.

Typical responsibilities include 

  • Prepare and present client-facing and internal deliverables that are technology-related
  • Serve as the Senior ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best practices 
  • Overall responsibility for analyzing and documenting business processes and systems  
  • Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow/Nuvolo environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflow, policies, actions, access control, interfaces, and any other configurations required to support client processes
  • Perform hands-on technical development work based on assigned user stories; conduct unit testing for each story assigned.
  • Develop JavaScript server/client code as needed for integration
  • Design, develop, and update custom solutions using Nuvolo 
  • Create and use update sets to move customer configuration between environments
  • Provide advanced support for ServiceNow//Nuvolo by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis 
Qualifications

Required Skills  

  • BS/BA in a related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management preferred)
  • ServiceNow Application Developer and/or Implementation Specialist Certification
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification
  • Completed Nuvolo training and have implemented Nuvolo space management for at least one customer
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of direct development experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Minimum of one (1) year of direct experience with Nuvolo platform or other similar IWMS solution 
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow administration and development, security, data management, and integrations
  • Demonstrated experience developing solutions consistent with architectural standards and ServiceNow best practices
  • Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements

Desired Skills  

  • Three (3) years of experience with core JavaScript development
  • Two (2) years of experience with web technologies such as DHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, HTTP
  • Two (2) years of experience with Server-side technologies such as Rino, Jelly
  • Three (3) years of Database technologies such as JDBC, SQL, MySQL, Oracle
  • Three (3) years of experience working with Nuvolo platform
  • Previous experience configuring and customizing all aspect of ServiceNow - UI Actions, UI Policy, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Include Scripts, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts, Scripted Web Services, Rest and SOAP web services, Roles / Groups to name a few
  • Understanding and experience related to advanced ServiceNow development, including the following:
  • Browser events, best practices in JavaScript coding, style sheets, jQuery 
  • The Glide Stack, Jelly scripts along with SN extensions, server-side JavaScript
  • Database relationships, views, query definition, before/after business rules
