Pro Skills Basketball (PSB) is the premier national youth basketball organization in America, and we are looking for coaches to lead our club basketball teams in Colorado Springs, CO for the upcoming 2026 Fall Season!
Coaching with PSB typically consists of practices 1-2 times per week with league and/or tournament games scheduled on weekends. PSB cities oftentimes have teams for boys and/or girls at the elementary, middle and high school levels, with teams consisting of kids at advanced, intermediate or beginner skill levels.
Coaching with PSB is a paid, part-time hourly role that is great for experienced coaches who are looking for additional basketball opportunities, recent college graduates seeking their start in the coaching world, or anyone with a passion for hoops that wants to make a positive impact on the youth in their community.

Team Coaches report directly to City Directors. For our best coaches, there is potential for growth and promotion both inside and outside of PSB.
The ideal candidate:

  • Believes in the educational experience of youth sports and prioritizes educational experiences over wins & losses
  • Possesses strong mentorship and leadership skills
  • Clearly and positively communicates with kids and adults
  • Strives to become a better mentor, leader and coach

Our Team Coaches have the following responsibilities:
  • Develop practice plans and lead your team's practices with positive energy and clear direction
  • Coach your team in games and lead substitution patterns, X's and O's, timeout management, and all other in-game activities
  • Coach and develop players with a philosophy that aligns with PSB's mission and values.
  • Communicate regularly with team families concerning logistics and team activities.
  • Be consistently engaged with PSB stakeholders and address concerns quickly, with a positive attitude.
  • Work with PSB management to ensure that all events have appropriate PSB staff coverage in the event of an absence.

Necessary experience:
  • High school basketball playing experience: 2 years minimum
  • Previous coaching experience: 1+ years (preferred)
  • Professional and organized
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Reliable, dependable, accountable
