Real Chemistry is looking for an Associate Directorย joinย our growingย Earned Mediaย team!ย 

This role can be remote, TX, Carmel, IN, remote FL, remote TN, or remote PA.

Whatย you'llย do:ย 

  • Work directly with a variety of clients in the biotech and pharma spaces to manage media strategy,ย executionย and related internal/external mediaย expectationsย 
  • May serve as day-to-day client contact for media needs on select accounts and as a strong #2 onย othersย 
  • Manage and own media engagement with local, trade and some national & top-tier media/journalistsย 
  • Track and prepare media outreach summaries/updates for internal teams andย clientsย 
  • Support organic and new business development efforts (i.e.ย media research, slide preparation support, etc.) and actively contribute to new business decks, along with smaller-scale presentationsย representingย earned mediaย teamย 
  • Manage media projects byย anticipatingย challenges,ย maintainingย media budgets, and collaborating with cross functionalย teamsย 
  • Lead broad-based earned media workstreams and manage internal and external clientย expectationsย 
  • Maintain core relationships with reporters by meeting regularly and sharing learnings with teams andย clientsย 
  • Serve as knowledge relationship manager for key sponsored content outlets (STAT, etc.) and share information moreย widelyย 
  • Responsible for providing integrated, 360-degree PESOย thinkingย 
  • Collaborate with the analytics and influencer teams toย identifyย influencers to engage andย activateย 
  • Accountable for training junior staff on Real Chemistry processes,ย responsibilitiesย and the healthcare media landscapeย 
  • Integrate and collaborate with cross-functional leaders, understand cross-functionalย capabilitiesย and motivate cross-functionalย teamwork(social, paid, search, and analytics teams)ย
