Job description

Regional expert tasked with designing, deploying, and assessing IT resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management solutions for technical infrastructure, applications, and business processes. Lead enhancement and execution of planning strategies, documentation, testing and implementation in support of effective event preparation, response and recovery. Implement and maintain business resilience strategy and frameworks to mitigate the potential risks associated with material business interruptions (e.g., loss of technology, loss of workforce, loss of facility, etc.). Consult with other Allianz Technology entities on assessment, implementation, and management of business continuity and disaster recovery programs, including crisis management and emergency response.
What you do
  • Serves as Allianz Technology of America subject matter expert to interface to clients to understand resiliency strategy, needs, and end-user needs.
  • Develops Allianz Technology of America disaster recovery services and support strategy to meet client needs.
  • Develops action plans to address recurring availability and performance impacts on Allianz Technology of America technical assets, systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborates with leadership on the execution of action plans.
  • Coordinates disaster recovery plans and tests.
  • Responsible for implementing the business continuity management process and managing the response to an emergency, incident or crisis.
  • Assesses requirement for third party vendor/suppliers to support response and various initiatives.
  • Manages service agreement and costs for associated work.
  • Expert on IT risk management, resilience and disaster recovery for Allianz Technology of America.
  • Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-education.
  • Generates innovative ideas and challenge the status quo.

What you bring
  • Minimum Requirements: 6-7 years experience required
  • IT experience
  • Four-year degree required: BA/BS in computer science, management information systems or related field or significant industry experience required.
  • Preferred certifications: CBCP, ITIL, PMP Preferred
  • Experience with large enterprise recovery solutions.
  • Experience with data replication services.
  • Experience conducting disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response.
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Masters degree preferred.

  • The annualized base pay range for this role is $150,000 - 190,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, and the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the ATA total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, ATA also offers eligibility for an incentive-based annual bonus.
