ASC Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled ASC Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the surgical staff and ensure the smooth operation of the surgical center. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care, including preoperative preparation, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative recovery.
  • Assist in maintaining ACLS, Life Safety, and Infection Control logs per CMS standards.
  • Ensure anesthesia providers have necessary supplies for anesthesia services.
  • Maintain, clean, and sterilize instruments as needed for surgical cases.
  • Assist with room turnover to promote ASC efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with surgical staff, maintaining a professional demeanor in stressful situations.
  • Participate in cost containment by using supplies economically and managing efficient turnover times.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's in Nursing
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona
  • Current ACLS/BLS Certification or ability to obtain.
  • Minimum 1 year of previous ASC, Operating Room, or ER experience
  • Experience with using EMR systems (preferably eCW)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to occasional stand/walk
  • Ability to assist patients as needed with walking, sitting, reading, and writing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
