Job Description

Prepare treatment rooms following prescribed protocols to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Welcome, comfort, seat, and drape patients prior to treatment.
Sterilize and deliver dental instruments, assist the dentist chairside, suction, and pass instruments during procedures.
Select, mix, and place dental materials as directed.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and assist with impressions and study casts.
Fabricate temporary restorations and assist with cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
Maintain CPR certification and support emergency management with necessary supplies.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative care.
Document dental care services accurately in patient records.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to infection-control policies and occupational safety regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance on dental equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and manage equipment inventory.
Assist with front office and lab tasks as needed.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to optimize patient care and office operations.

Salary Range

Part-time $18 - $24 per hour

Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
  • Infection Control License

Valid Dental Assisting License.
Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience.
CPR Certification (maintained throughout employment).
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and infection control standards.

Preferences
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Bilingual, preferably fluent in Arabic.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) management.
Familiarity with dental radiography and lab procedures.
