WHOOP is hiring a Senior Lead of Apparel & Accessories Product Marketing to drive the development and strategy of a growing and high-impact product category. This role will lead early-stage product concepting and development, shaping the roadmap and influencing cross-functional priorities to deliver meaningful business outcomes. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, partnering across internal teams and external collaborators to bring innovative products to life for WHOOP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the end-to-end development of Apparel & Accessories products, driving execution from concept through launch readiness in partnership with design, engineering, and development teams

  • Introduce and lead early-stage product research and development, defining product concepts, use cases, and business rationale grounded in consumer insights and market opportunities

  • Partner with Supply Chain to validate product feasibility, lead times, and cost at defined stages of the product creation process, ensuring alignment prior to sourcing commitments

  • Lead product creation for key external partnerships, managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment to deliver high-quality, co-developed products

  • Translate consumer insights, market trends, and performance data into actionable product briefs and category-level recommendations that inform roadmap and portfolio strategy

  • Drive product positioning, naming, and core messaging in collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure consistency across channels

  • Partner closely with go-to-market teams to ensure a seamless transition from product readiness to launch execution

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a related role within consumer goods, apparel, or wearable technology

  • Proven track record of developing physical products and managing them through the full lifecycle, from concept through launch

  • Experience partnering with design and engineering teams to bring physical products from concept to production

  • Experience leading product development in collaboration with external partners or brands, with strong relationship and project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, influence cross-functional strategy, and drive alignment without direct authority

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into clear product direction and actionable briefs

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at multiple levels

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously

  • Passion for health, wellness, fitness, or performance-driven products preferred

  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $170,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training. 
 
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
 
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
