Job description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is sourcing for an Analyzer Technician with experience in the petrochemical industry.

POSITION FUNCTIONS:

  • Carries out routine daily checks and calibrations of a wide variety of analyzers and performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Demonstrates basic mechanical and process knowledge.
  • Demonstrates basic computer skills and able to make daily data entries.
  • Basic knowledge of AC/DC voltage, 4-20 mA, ability to operate Digital Volt Meter.
  • Identify, recognize and demonstrate safe usage of power tools and hand tools appropriate for the job.
  • Must adhere to safety rules and policies and safe work practices.
Skills / Qualifications
  • 2 year degree associates degree in Instrumentation/Electrical or equivalent experience in specified craft or in pursuit of Instrumentation/Electrical degree
  • 1 - 2 years of experience
  • Demonstrate ability to climb to heights over 6' above ground level.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle/lift loads up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work alone and be motivated to accomplish tasks in an efficient, safe and skillful manner without direct supervision.
