Position Summary The Regional Manager/Director (RMRD) partners with affiliated dentists to drive growth, operational excellence, and clinical partnership across approximately 510 practices (depending on geography). The RMRD ensures adherence to company culture, standards, and best practices while mentoring Operations Managers and supporting dentists in leadership and practice development. This role requires executive-level thinking, independent judgment, and a strong ability to influence, coach, and deliver results through others. Major Responsibilities Financial & Operational Leadership Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth for assigned region, meeting or exceeding practice budgets. Ensure successful integration of specialty services within practices. Leverage company platforms, processes, and tools to identify opportunities, prioritize improvements, and ensure accountability. Demonstrate stewardship of the Passion Dental brand through consistent, values-based decision making. Leadership & People Development Recruit, develop, and mentor Operations Managers, ensuring operational and leadership competencies are consistently demonstrated. Partner with dentists to support non-clinical skill development of associate dentists and hygienists. Conduct performance reviews, administer compensation, and manage HR-related actions (recruitment, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions). Build strategic relationships with dentists and managers, including high-potential leaders. Culture & Patient Experience Model company culture, values, and standards based on the Pillars of Passion. Implement the Relationship Practice Experience process to foster Patients for Life. Lead effective regional trainings, meetings, and presentations to align teams on goals and culture. Compliance & Training Ensure all team members complete required training and remain compliant. Partner with regional training leadership to provide learning opportunities for teams. Ensure compliance with company policies and all state, federal, and regulatory standards. Professionalism & Brand Representation Maintain professional appearance, communication, and conduct in all interactions. Ensure practices uphold facility standards, brand image, and operational excellence. Other Travel regularly to assigned offices (multiple visits per day may be required). Perform additional duties as assigned. --- Qualifications Preferred Bachelors degree OR 7+ years of multi-unit retail managerial experience. Valid drivers license and automobile insurance (or reliable alternate transportation). Ability and flexibility to travel daily between multiple practice locations. Preferred Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration. --- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proven ability to drive financial and operational results. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities. Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Skilled in delivering training and facilitating group meetings. Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze KPIs, financial reports, and legal documents. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
