Business Development Manager is a key position for us to reach our aggressive ambition for growth. She/He will be responsible for the management and the development of her/his territory (mainly New England and Ohio including Key local accounts: P&G, KAO, C&E and AVON), reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Director of Beauty Care.
  • Base salary: $85,000-$105,000 annually with additional incentives.
  • Manage and Develop a Sales Revenue Portfolio of $5M+
  • Management of around 50+ active accounts including major local accounts
  • Promotion of Beauty Care Specialty Ingredients to existing customers & prospects at different levels: R&D, Procurement, Marketing
  • Development of Strategic Plans for our major local accounts and development of specific territory sales strategies to maximize growth opportunities
  • Generate monthly sales reports, enter all call reports in CRM, follow main opportunities through our CRM and contribute to budgeting and forecasting
  • Participate in local and national industry shows.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years Beauty Care ingredients experience in sales or related technical experience
  • Minimum education: Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
  • Proven skills in developing multi-level relationships with customers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, likes to work in a team in close collaboration with others (multiple interfaces)
  • Capable to work in full autonomy, organized, resilient & dynamic
  • Willing to travel regularly (50% + of the time)
