• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments that provide insight into clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and resources for support.
• Deliver effective individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused approaches.
• Develop customized treatment plans that clearly outline therapeutic goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care that aligns with best practices.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as necessary to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation adhering to ethical and legal standards, facilitating transparent communication among the treatment team.
• Lead support groups, psychoeducation classes, and group therapy sessions designed to enhance clients’ understanding of their mental health.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals seeking support for anxiety and depression to families grappling with systemic issues. You will develop meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients who come from various backgrounds, reflecting the rich tapestry of the Houston community. By addressing each client as a whole person, you will support their journey toward improved mental health and resilience.

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• Currently hold an active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated understanding of ethical guidelines governing the practice and a strong commitment to upholding them.

We prefer candidates with at least two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, showcasing proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities and a track record of enhancing client outcomes. Experience in conducting group therapy and working collaboratively within a healthcare framework will be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques is beneficial as well.
