Position Summary:

MUFG is seeking an Analyst to join the Securitized Products Group to help originate and execute warehouse and term ABS issuance opportunities and transactions in off the run asset classes including transportation, digital infrastructure, specialty finance, and media.

MUFG is a market leader in securitized products and providing innovative financing solutions to its clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the deal team in originating and executing warehouse and term ABS transactions
  • Develop pitch book materials to support transaction pipeline
  • Maintain database and weekly updates
  • Support and execute all aspects of transactions, including review and analyze portfolio specific data and cash-flows, coordinate internal processes related to warehouse financing and all transactions parties and execute warehouse and term ABS transactions
  • Aid senior team members in relationship development with clients including responding to requests, generating detailed analyses and in person meetings
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including credit risk, syndicate, sales and trading teams and with third parties such as legal, accountants, rating agencies and investors to execute transactions
  • Participate in special assignments and projects as required

Qualifications

We require:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher
  • A minimum of 1 year of securitization experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to learn new asset classes quickly
  • Strong decision making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgment
  • A pro-active, motivated approach, and ability to take ownership of projects
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)

The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
