We are seeking a dependable and experiencedDirect Support Professional (DSP)to support ahigh-functioning adult couplewho are actively employed.

The successful candidatemust demonstrate a calm demeanor, sound judgment, and a high level of professionalism when interacting with individuals in all situations.

This role focuses on supporting independence, personal growth, and overall quality of life through daily assistance and community engagement. Avalid Maryland drivers licenseis required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and shared support with daily living skills
  • Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support communication and positive social interactions
  • Assist with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
  • Transport individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities
  • Encourage participation in community programs and events
  • Administer medications in accordance with policies and documentation standards
  • Use positive behavior support and redirection strategies as needed
  • Complete accurate documentation, including daily notes and incident reports
