About the Opportunity:

  • Primary location – Southern Pines, NC. Services also delivered at school-based centers in Biscoe and Mt. Gilead, NC. Innovative portable program further expands outreach.
  • Provide oversight and direction for a program that cares for children from birth to age 21 (Medicaid recipients and uninsured).
  • Services include preventive dental sealants, cleanings and exams, white and silver fillings, extractions, and spacers.
  • Dependable schedule – Mon-Fri, 7A-5P; some of that being administration time

Required:

  • Degree in Dentistry from an accredited school.
  • At least 2 years of dental experience.

  • Knowledge of contemporary dental practices, regulatory requirements, and standards of care for dental services.
  • Current and valid NC Dental license.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Experience treating pediatric patients.
  • Background in public health.
  • Master’s in Public Health/Administration
