The purpose of the role is to define, develop and execute sales plans and initiatives that ensure that current and future growth targets are met for the ENVEA portfolio within the defined territory. ENVEA currently has a well-defined direct sales team in Germany and sells in the other territories though distribution partners. In this role, the Head of Sales is expected to develop growth plans for the region, identify new routes to market, review existing channels, and ensure plans are met. The role holder should not feel constrained by pre-existing arrangements. A key part of this role is to assess performance and make investment recommendations to grow market share across all markets. The candidate will ideally have a background in Gas and Dust High Performance Monitors, or other technically advanced “Systems” sales. A strong understanding of current and future environmental Air Quality legislation and/or a strong background on Industrial processes oriented in the Combustion or/& Incineration market or/& Cement Industry. An ability to develop our market intelligence and create contacts and leads across all national Air Quality Institutes and/or industries connected to the CEMS or PROCESS systems applications market are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set and apply a strategy for the growth covering the entire ENVEA portfolio.
• Manage and support the regionally distributed German field sales team, ensuring key targets and deliverables are and met.
• Consistently achieve annual Sales and Service revenue targets for the territory.
• Ensure that ENVEA IT chosen CRM, Salesforce is updated and used to track performance, to enable all communications within the market to be correctly recorded and reported.
• Manage and follow the sales processes quality with the Back Office leader to be sure that the leads / the sales opportunities / the quotes / the purchase orders are covered and under control through the content whether it is technical or administrative.
• Be able to also monitor the key account management and a multiple distribution network up to the field and industry covered, and making decision if the context justifies it.
• Drive measurable year on year growth into the market through innovative approaches, identifying and delivering on new opportunities to create tangible sales.
• Support the release of new products and technologies into the market.
• Identify and deliver new services and service-based revenue streams.
• Represent the business at exhibitions, seminars, trade association meetings and other external meetings as required.
• Identify, develop, and deliver new routes to market, including new product opportunities which could be sold via existing or new channels to market.
• Coordinate direct campaigns, webinars, seminars, and other related tools to support the growth plans.
• Ensure high levels of customer service through efficient and timely responses to enquires, with technical and applications expertise for the ENVEA Group product range.
• Investigate and analyse trends and events in target markets, to enable the Sales Team to maximise current sales and the Product Management team to ensure future portfolio development is aligned with future opportunities.
• Perform any other duties as may reasonably be required as business circumstances dictate.

Knowledge

• Key sectors applicable to ENVEA’s portfolio, including Ambient, Emissions, regulatory compliance, process monitoring and control solutions.
• Broad, multi-sector industrial application insights.
• European Air Quality and Emission regulatory framework and how it relates to the DACH region and Europe.
• The procurement and approval processes used by buyers.
• Good understanding of the sales process: how to win and close sales.
• Sales team management and leadership: how to direct and motivation a regionally based sales team to deliver the revenue targets and growth that is required.

Das feste Jahresbruttogehalt für diese Position beginnt bei 75.000 €.

Location It would be advantageous for the candidate to be located within a commutable distance to one of ENVEA’ s locations within Germany (Schliengen or Vohenstrauss). Travel Regular travel within the territory will be required, with occasional travel within Europe to other ENVEA locations as the business requires.
