Job description

📦 Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift – Fast‑Paced, KPI‑Driven Operation

Join a national, growth‑focused logistics organization as a Warehouse Supervisor overseeing a high‑volume build area where pallets are assembled, wrapped, and loaded for delivery. This role is ideal for leaders with strong attention to detail, a safety‑first mindset, and the ability to manage performance in a fast‑paced, union‑based environment.

You’ll supervise 10–12 direct reports, including order pickers and pallet builders, ensuring daily goals for safety, service, productivity, and reliability are consistently met.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
  • Plan daily and weekly manpower to meet production needs while minimizing overtime
  • Lead daily shift meetings to communicate safety updates, operational priorities, and gather employee feedback
  • Assign work duties to ensure efficient workflows and KPI achievement
  • Manage warehouse operations across pallet building, wrapping, staging, and truck loading
  • Train and coach employees on SOPs, safety protocols, and performance expectations
  • Track productivity and reliability using statistical data and equipment metrics
  • Resolve conflicts and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Complete assigned projects and support continuous improvement initiatives
📐 Essential Skills & Requirements
  • 2–5 years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or production
  • Strong safety orientation with the ability to enforce compliance
  • Experience supervising union employees highly preferred
  • KPI‑driven management with proven ability to meet nightly goals
  • Inventory and logistics knowledge
  • SOP enforcement and process adherence
  • Hands‑on capability when needed (not a working supervisor role, but must be comfortable assisting)

  • Shipping/receiving experience including FedEx

    • Associate’s Degree + 3 years related experience + 0–1 years supervisory experience OR
    • High School Diploma/GED + 5 years related experience + 2+ years supervisory experience
