Description:

Responsible for the overall design of the enterprise wide data/information architecture, which maps to the enterprise architecture and balances the need for access against security and performance requirements. Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts. Focuses on enterprise wide data modeling and database design. Defines data/information architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and applies accepted data content standards to technology projects. Facilitates consistent business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and design, Database Management Systems optimization, archiving and recovery strategy, load strategy design and implementation, security and change management at the enterprise level. May require a bachelor's or master's degree in a related area and 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. 


SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND OTHER AGENCIES WITH VARIOUS PROJECTS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1) COSTING METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS

2) DASHBOARDS DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT

3) COST ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT OF SERVICES RATES

4) ANALYSIS OF SPEND DATA FOR REAL ESTATE AND IT INITIATIVES

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

ASSIST ADMIN WITH THE DEPLOYMENT AND UTILIZATION OF THE SAP PROFITABILITY AND COST MANAGEMENT (PCM)MODULE.

ASSIST ADMIN WITH THE RETIREMENT OF ITS CURRENT IT BILLING SYSTEM. SYSTEM WILL BE REPLACED UTILIZING SAP FUNCTIONALITIES SUCH AS SALES & DISTRIBUTION, PLANT MAINTENANCE AND PCM.

ONCE PCM IS FULLY DEPLOYED AND FUNCTIONAL, PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO OTHER AGENCIES INTERESTED IN UTILIZING THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE MODULE.

ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT OF HR, FINANCE AND OTHER KPI/PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT DASHBOARDS FOR MANAGEMENT OF ADMIN AND OTHER AGENCIES.

ASSIST ADMIN'S EXECUTIVE BUDGET OFFICE WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF DASHBOARDS AND OTHER DATA DISPLAYS/ANALYTICS FOR THE ANNUAL ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT.

ASSIST DIVISIONS OF ADMIN WITH COST ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT OF SERVICE RATES.

ASSIST WITH THE DEVELOPMENT, DEPLOYMENT AND UTILIZATION OF VARIOUS REPORTING TOOLS, I.E. BOBJ UPGRADES, LUMIRA, ETC.

ASSIST ADMIN MANAGEMENT WITH THE ANALYSIS OF SPEND DATA FOR REAL ESTATE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVES.


REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): 


HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH SAP TOOLS TO INCLUDE BUSINESS WAREHOUSE, BUSINESS OBJECTS, LUMIRA, PCM; EXPERIENCE WITH COST AND FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING, ESPECIALLY AT A STATE GOVERNMENT LEVEL; EXPERIENCE WITH REPORT AND DASHBOARD DEVELOPMENT.


REQUIRED EDUCATION: 


BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ACCOUNTING, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, STATISTICS OR RELATED FIELD OF STUDY.
MASTER'S DEGREE AND CPA PREFERRED.

Qualifications

SAP BO, Lumira, PCM, COST AND FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING, GOVERNMENT experience
