Job description

Director of ECMO
Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center
Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Established 12-physician intensivist group seeking a Director of ECMO to lead and advance a growing extracorporeal life support program within a high-acuity academic medical center.

This physician leader will provide strategic and clinical oversight of the ECMO program, ensuring full compliance with ELSO guidelines and national best practices. Responsibilities include direct oversight of ECMO patient care, development of standardized protocols, ongoing training and education of hospital personnel, collaboration with regional referral partners, and community outreach to strengthen program awareness and access.

This is an opportunity to shape and expand a destination ECMO program within one of the nations largest and most respected hospitals.
