REVENUE DEPARTMENT MANAGER
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
 Salary: $43,000 – $58,000 DOE
 Benefits: Full Benefits Package

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Revenue  Department Manager to oversee the daily operations, efficiency, and performance of a revenue cycle department. This position is responsible for ensuring information flows accurately and efficiently through the department so services are properly billed, revenue is collected, and financial benchmarks are consistently achieved.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager with experience in implementation, project management, process improvement, department efficiencies, and team leadership. This person must be comfortable identifying problems, developing solutions, implementing changes, and holding the department accountable for results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the daily operations and overall performance of the Revenue Department.
  • Direct the flow of information and processes to ensure revenue is accurately and timely billed and collected.
  • Monitor department performance, productivity, accuracy, and financial benchmarks.
  • Identify inefficiencies, workflow issues, and performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Make recommendations to improve processes, productivity, revenue collection, and overall department performance.
  • Lead implementation of new processes, procedures, systems, and departmental initiatives.
  • Manage projects from planning and implementation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain effective workflows and procedures to ensure the department operates efficiently.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and take appropriate action when benchmarks are not being met.
  • Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage department employees.
  • Address performance issues and administer disciplinary action, up to and including termination, when necessary.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained and understand departmental expectations, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Work with leadership and other departments to resolve issues affecting revenue flow and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accountability for departmental goals, deadlines, and results.
  • Provide management with updates, recommendations, and performance information as needed.
  • Promote a professional, productive, and accountable department culture.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5–10 years of experience in department management, implementation, project management, or a combination of these.
  • Proven track record of meeting financial and operational benchmarks.
  • Experience supervising 12+ employees, including hiring, training, coaching, discipline, and termination.
  • Proven experience with process improvement, implementation, and project management.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and keep departmental performance on target.
  • Experience ensuring technology, equipment, system access, and employee logins are in place to support successful department operations and new-hire onboarding.
  • Experience coordinating training and departmental workflows to ensure employees are prepared and productive.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Four-year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Technology, or related field preferred.
