PURPOSE

The Food Production Teammate works in a variety of positions in connection with food preparation, service and cleaning under the supervision of a higher level employee.  Assists in the preparation of all foods. Assists in service customers. Performs cashiering duties. Operates all kitchen and line equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Assists in the preparation of all foods, including meats, fish, fruits, vegetables and other food for serving using standardized recipes
  • Assists in the serving of food products with a positive attitude to customers
  • May assist with performing cashiering duties accurately, collects cash and handles meal cards
  • Is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, dining room, kitchen and equipment
  • May wash pots and pans, run dish machine and perform cleaning and sanitation duties
  • May clean tables, put chairs up and take chairs down
  • May put away stock (groceries)
  • Must interact with student employees in a positive manner
  • May assist with refuse removal
  • Is expected to do any reasonable requests asked of them
  • Other duties may be assigned to reach individual and organizational goals.

  • FSLA Status: Hourly
  • Rate of pay: $17.05 per hour
