Allegro Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Full-Time Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher to keep our busy, high-energy kitchen running at its best. If you've worked in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality kitchen and you're ready for consistent PM hours without the chaos of late-night closings - this is the role for you.
What You'll Do:
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment throughout every shift
  • Assist with basic food prep and kitchen tasks as directed by the culinary team
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining environment throughout service
  • Take out trash and keep kitchen stations stocked and ready
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or senior living kitchen - preferred

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.
Areas of Responsibility
  • Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
  • Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
  • Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
  • Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications
