Job description

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Dimensional Inspector for a client in the Crosby area. The ideal candidate will have experience as an Inspector checking tight tolerances (+/-.001), and have experience setting up and using ID OD mics, Mic-track gages, dial indicators, and comparators. The Dimensional Inspector is responsible for verifying products to ensure all dimensional, visual, surface finish, and work order requirements are met.

 

Job Duties

  • Measure and inspect products to ensure they meet all specified requirements of the work order
  • Review and follow work order process instructions before and during inspections
  • Gather and verify that all inspection equipment is in proper working condition and is properly identified with a valid calibration sticker date
  • Populate dimensional logs for dimensions that cannot be verified in process
  • Create move tickets and move products in Digital Precision as needed
  • Prep for shipment and tag products as needed
  • Assemble products per work order requirements and customer specifications/drawings
  • Work with Quality in identifying and segregating non-conforming product
  • Keep a safe, clean, and FOD free work space
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

 Work Schedule: Mon-Fri  6am- 6pm (they do not work weekends) Type of Opportunity/Length: Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $20-$25/hr
