Job description

Overview:

  • Inspects manufactured products to ensure compliance and conformance with specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and hardness.
  • 12-hour shifts, Mon-Fri


Responsibilities: 

  • Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications.
  • Measures angular dimensions, radii, contours, clearances, thread lead, and other specifications.
  • Verifies product accuracy using gauges and measuring instruments.
  • Completes reports on inspections and testing results.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensures all PPE is worn while on shop floor.
  • Other duties assigned.


Education:

  • High school diploma; or GED


Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience with quality inspections.
  • 1-3 years of experience with precision measuring instruments.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in production setting.


Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to accurately document data
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
