Make every micron count
In our expanding CNC machine job shop, we build precision parts for aerospace, automotive, and medical device applications. We’re committed to advanced manufacturing technology, rigorous quality, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Imagine this
You open a new work order for a complex component. You review the CAD model and blueprint, identify datums and GD&T callouts, and program the CMM to capture critical features. A first article inspection confirms the setup, in-process checks keep the run stable, and a final inspection validates conformance. When a non-conformance appears, you collaborate with machinists and engineers, adjust, and document—closing the loop with clear, traceable records.
Your impact
- Program and operate CMMs to verify machined parts and assemblies against specifications.
- Translate engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD files into reliable inspection strategies.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to safeguard quality at every stage.
- Record and communicate inspection results, including detailed non-conformance reports.
- Apply micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools to support CMM findings.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues swiftly.
- Maintain thorough inspection records and contribute to continuous quality improvement projects.
What you need to succeed
- 2+ years of CMM inspection experience within a CNC machining environment.
- Proficiency in CMM programming and operation with PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, or similar.
