JOB SUMMARY:
In accordance with IDC quality management system, perform various inspections of operations and products; prepare and maintain inspection records, shipping/receiving documents, and other associated documents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Maximum of Eight)
1. Maintain knowledge of IDC quality assurance policy, perform basic dimensional and/or visual inspection of operations, assemblies, and finished product in accordance with applicable work/operating instructions, and prepare and maintain required inspection records
2. As applicable, provide input/prepare shipping/receiving documents.
3. Perform end-item inspection and complete required documentation.
4. Assist in the performance of receiving inspection and documentation of required records of purchased/customer-supplied materials/supplies and products.
5. Appropriately intervene in crises and emergencies, seeking consultation as needed and minister first aid in accordance with established procedures.
6. Participate in meeetings held for a variety of purposes including production, in-service training, administration, etc.
7. Participate in the agency's accident-prevention program and actively promote safe practices in the delivery of services and manufacturing of products.
8. Assist as requested in the formulation of the inspection plan for specific jobs.
9. As requested, participate in conducting ISO audit review at other IDC locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Basic math skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes/quality control
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent
