Pine Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Transportation Driver to join our team. Working under the supervision of the Maintenance Director and Administrator, this position plays an essential role in ensuring the safe transportation of our residents while also assisting with facility maintenance and groundskeeping throughout the year.

Your Role
As a Transportation Driver, you will:
  • Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other scheduled outings using the facility van or bus
  • Coordinate transportation schedules with facility staff and ensure residents arrive on time for appointments
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain mileage logs, trip sheets, and required documentation
  • Ensure all passengers are properly seated and secured before operating the vehicle
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and facility transportation policies
  • Report safety concerns, vehicle maintenance needs, or incidents promptly
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to residents, families, and staff
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no DUI convictions within the past 10 years
  • Must be at least 25 years of age for insurance purposes
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and uphold residents' rights
  • Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to transportation and facility maintenance
