JOB SUMMARY:

At SCL, our mission is to enhance our clients' lives through connection and inclusion. As a DTG Printing & Graphic Design Specialist and Job Coach, you will collaborate with our dedicated staff to provide quality services and support to individuals with disabilities. You will be responsible for printing and design operations, project management, customer service, and coaching individuals to build essential job skills.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Printing & Design Operations

  • Operate DTG (Direct-to-Garment), screen printing, and sublimation printing equipment on apparel and other products.
  • Create and edit graphics for printing using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva (knowledge of JPG to PNG conversion preferred).
  • Maintain accurate Point of Sale (POS) items, inventory input, and control.
  • Place and manage product orders; maintain basic apparel and product knowledge.

Customer Service & Sales

  • Communicate effectively and timely with clients and team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service both in-person and via phone/email.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including managing social media (currently Facebook) and business canvassing.

Project & Client Management

  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Provide training and support for clients on various printing, design, or project-related tasks.
  • Maintain organized records, order documentation, and inventory management.
  • Work efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet production and client needs.

Job Coach for Individuals with Disabilities

  • Work individually and in group settings to assist clients in building job skills and habits for success.
  • Train clients on the proper operation of equipment and job-specific tasks.
  • Provide guidance and support for a small caseload of individuals with disabilities.
  • Encourage clients to achieve personal goals in alignment with their abilities and aspirations.
