It is important to check specific age requirements and labor regulations in your area.

What are the big 4 internships?

The Big 4 internships typically refer to summer internship programs offered by Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young (EY), and KPMG. These internships provide students with experience in auditing, consulting, tax, and advisory services, often serving as a pathway to full-time employment within these firms.

What types of projects and tasks can a Digitization Intern expect to work on during their internship?

As a Digitization Intern, you'll typically be involved in projects such as scanning and cataloging physical documents, photographs, or artifacts, and entering metadata to ensure proper organization and searchability. You'll also assist in quality control by reviewing digitized files for accuracy and completeness. Collaboration with archivists, librarians, or IT staff is common, as you'll learn industry-standard software and workflows. This hands-on experience is valuable for understanding best practices in digital preservation and can provide a strong foundation for careers in archives, libraries, or information management.

Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability help you work effectively with team members and address technical challenges. These skills ensure accurate preservation and accessibility of digital records, which is crucial for supporting organizational knowledge and resource management.
