Job Description
SUMMARY: Stride, Inc. is seeking an up and coming marketing professional to support the director of Media Ops & Analytics and the paid media team in driving significant revenue growth across our lines of business, including Career Learning and General Education.
Stride is looking for an intern to assist the reporting and analytics director to broaden the efficiency and scale of its digital marketing team across all channels and lines of business. Reporting to and collaborating with the Director of Media Ops & Analytics, the Intern will learn to create and maintain a full suite of financial/performance and forecasting reports for the paid media team.
This position requires an individual who is very analytically minded, extremely data-driven, and open to learning new technologies. The individual in this position must be able to learn the role various digital marketing channels play in the overall user funnel and develop knowledge of lead generation environments with an emphasis on downstream performance. The individual will work closely with channel owners across the media team as well as the analytics team.
The responsibilities of the role can vary based on evolving marketing team structure and business needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
  • Work with Director to develop and maintain marketing channel budget plan by month and by quarter
  • Develop forecast by day of spend and inquiry volume at the channel level Create series of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for paid media team using inputs from various data sources, including Adobe, Google, Bing, Meta, and more
  • Work with Analytics team to create reports and views using Salesforce data at a granular channel level to support paid media optimization efforts
  • Work closely with Director on various marginal curve analysis projects to develop more effective monthly paid media plan at a state level
  • Work with paid media channel owners to develop reporting views of paid tests to evaluate results, and deep dive analysis to help improve channel performance and ROI
  • Create regular cadence of reports in digestible formats to be shared with executive team and board members
  • Manage overall paid media budget, purchase orders, and reconciliation with Finance team, providing regular cadence of reports as needed
  • Additional reporting/analytics projects as required by the executive team

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • One (1) Year relevant internship or work experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of math-focused education and experience
  • Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Excel user
  • Highly organized and punctual

OPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Intermediate to Advanced level user of Microsoft suite of products, with emphasis on Excel
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and/or other data platforms is a plus
  • Relevant media agency experience
  • Experience with marketing analytics platforms, including Google, Adobe, and Snowflake

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections.
We anticipate this position will pay $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
