Job description

The Digital Readiness Champion (DRC) is a pure enablement and coaching role. The DRC joins along on calls to help reps prepare, close, present digital presentations. They join regional team meetings to keep digital top-of-mind, help onboard new reps with digital training, and delivers ongoing training and coaching to both the legacy and digital team. The DRC does not carry a personal sales book and does not sell for their own account — their entire value is the multiplier effect of lifting the whole legacy team's digital production. This is a credibility-driven role: the DRC must be experienced enough that reps respect and learn from them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Join legacy rep calls to help close digital business — objection handling, proposals, pitch support.
  • Join regional team meetings to keep digital top-of-mind and build momentum.
  • Deliver training & coaching — build digital sales playbooks, onboarding materials, and ongoing skills development.
  • Drive legacy rep penetration — grow the % of legacy reps actively selling digital
  • Support the digital channel — help reps with retention, renewals, upsells, and product integration.
  • Report on adoption and results — track rep activation, penetration, and digital production lift for leadership.
  • Digital Onboarding — Train all new digital Account Executives on products and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in digital advertising / media sales, with coaching, training, or team-lead exposure.
  • A proven closer — credible enough to teach and ride along with reps.
  • Deep knowledge of the digital suite: display, PPC/search, SEO, loyalty, websites.
  • Strong at coaching others through retention, renewals, and upselling.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized — able to run a training calendar, onboarding class, and ridealong schedule across regions.
  • A collaborative leader who elevates the whole team, not their own numbers.
