Job description

Digital Transformation Lead, EPC

Our Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) team delivers the infrastructure powering Redwood's growth. We're looking for a Digital Transformation Lead to define and execute our EPC digital strategy, streamline workflows, and build in-house tools that enable seamless collaboration across design, engineering, and construction. 

You'll oversee core EPC systems while establishing scalable, data-driven processes that serve as a single source of truth. This role combines hands-on system leadership with long-term vision-setting and includes the opportunity to grow a dedicated digital innovation team. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Own and execute the EPC digital roadmap 
  • Integrate external software solutions and develop internal solutions or add-ons 
  • Streamline data flow and collaboration across enterprise systems 
  • Increase team productivity and automated workflows by developing in-house tools using AI-augmented coding 
  • Partner with EPC, Operations, and Engineering to solve workflow challenges 
  • Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of digital platforms 
  • Build governance, training, and adoption programs 
  • Lead vendor management and system integrations 
  • Serve as EPC's digital subject matter expert and advisor 

Desired Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, systems integration, or enterprise software operations in EPC, engineering consulting, construction, or energy 
  • Proven leadership of technical and cross-functional teams 
  • Strong knowledge of EPC workflows and project lifecycles (utility-scale solar/battery stationary storage a plus) 
  • Experience with systems like Workday, SmartSheets, Sharepoint, Oracle, and P6 
  • Expertise in data architecture, APIs, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL) 
  • Experience with AI Tools & Technologies (Claude Code or similar AI supported engineering) 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business (Master's a plus) 
  • Excellent communication and change management skills
