Mercedes-Benz of Hampton is seeking a highly professional, customer-focused Client Engagement Specialist to join our Business Development Center. This role is responsible for managing digital sales opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering a premium brand experience from the very first interaction. This is not a call center role. This position requires emotional intelligence, discipline, strong communication skills, and a commitment to representing the Mercedes-Benz standard of excellence.

Position Overview

The Client Engagement Specialist serves as the first point of contact for internet inquiries, inbound calls, and CRM-driven opportunities. The ideal candidate understands that every interaction reflects the Mercedes-Benz brand and is committed to delivering a refined, responsive, and professional client experience.

This individual will proactively manage digital leads, engage prior customers, execute targeted outreach campaigns, and support the sales team through appointment setting and pipeline development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, website inquiries, and inbound calls
  • Manage daily CRM tasks, follow-ups, and opportunity tracking
  • Execute outbound engagement to previous customers for retention and upgrade opportunities
  • Coordinate and confirm appointments for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
  • Support targeted email campaigns and client communication initiatives
  • Monitor response times and ensure consistent follow-through
  • Identify new opportunities within the database to drive showroom traffic
