Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the marketing team, supporting the development, execution, coordination, and reporting of digital marketing communications. This role helps bring campaigns, product launches, operational updates, and resort initiatives to life through accurate, timely, and brand-aligned execution that supports both guest experience and business goals.

Day to day, the coordinator will assist with developing digital content, executing campaigns, coordinating project details and stakeholder feedback, making updates across digital platforms including CRM, CMS, website, email, mobile app, blog, chatbot, and ecommerce systems, maintaining organized workflows, and reporting on performance. This role requires close attention to detail, strong writing and proofreading skills, sound digital judgment, proactive follow-through, and the ability to learn and work efficiently across multiple systems and platforms. The position is best suited to someone with an interest in the outdoor/snow sports industry and a commitment to clear, accurate, guest-focused communication.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Hourly:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $20.50 - $28.69 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following: other duties may be assigned. In conjunction and coordination with the Marketing Manager, you will:

Digital Marketing

  • Gather content and key details to assist with the creation and distribution of content that effectively engages our audience.
  • Support with campaign needs and ticket queue to make updates across digital mediums including website, blog, chatbot, email, and mobile app.
  • Responsible for proofing, testing, and implementing feedback to help ensure accurate and error-free execution of links, content, and assets across desktop and mobile platforms
  • Assist in audience building and segmentation to support targeting strategies utilizing our customer database.
  • Ensure compliance with marketing regulations and best practices, including digital accessibility standards, PII protection, SEO, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR.

General

  • Participate in creative brainstorming, branding, & strategy sessions
  • Assist with reporting on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assist with other marketing and business initiatives.

Competencies and Job Requirements:

  • Experience or demonstrated interest in developing clear, accurate, guest-facing digital content.

  • Working knowledge of HTML and/or CSS Quantitative skills and familiarity with web analytics tools
  • Experience coordinating projects, tracking details, managing feedback, and meeting deadlines.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree - preference for a background in marketing, communications
  • 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency with applicable technology, including Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and web-based applications. Photoshop experience is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently learn new Content Management Systems and consumer email platforms. Sitecore CMS and/or WordPress experience is a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with graphic design, Content Management Systems, Search Engine Optimization, HTML & CSS, and Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics are a plus.
  • Experience working with an ESP (we use Insider One).
  • Familiarity with, and passion for the ski resort environment, especially the Palisades Tahoe experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and ski or snowboard. Must be capable of walking, standing, or skiing/ snowboarding 70% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 25lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus

Working Conditions:

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be exposed to harsh outside weather conditions, including extreme cold and blizzard like conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.
