Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Asset Management (DAM) Product Lead to join our Chief Marketing Office (CMO) at Pfizer. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the success of our operations and global marketing teams. Your primary responsibility will be to research, develop and deliver innovative product offerings that support end-to-end workflows for colleagues and agency partners around the globe, enabling them to scale creation of compelling content around the world.

As a Business Product Lead, you will act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with business stakeholders and our technical teams to shape the vision and set objectives and key results (OKRs) for our DAM product. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to ensure that the product continues to deliver efficiency and effectiveness, while meeting the evolving needs of our marketing organization- inclusive of searchable modular content, digital rights and AI capabilities/integrations.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for actively engaging in and guiding business objectives and technical discussions. It is essential you possess a strong grasp of technical concepts related to marketing technology tools such as data flow, workflow management, automation, AI, content and asset management, and more. Additionally, you should possess the skills to define roadmaps, create backlogs, set sprint goals, prioritize features and initiatives, and effectively inspire and influence teams and stakeholders to align with your vision and objectives.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Ensure DAM enables colleagues and agency to easily organize, locate and reuse assets across channels and markets.
  • Ensure DAM enables marketers to easily associate with claims, licensing and associated usage rights.
  • Work with other product leaders to ensure an integrated user experience across related products, including but not limited to workflow, MLR and AI.
  • Support and help shape a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers, aligning with the priorities of the marketing organization.
  • Consolidate and prioritize outcomes, business needs, and technical demands from marketing and agency teams.
  • Collaborate with internal digital teams, UX experts, and stakeholders across commercial and medical divisions to create a product roadmap that streamlines our creative, media, and CRM processes, while collecting critical meta-data for optimizing customer experiences.
  • Prioritize business cases and optimize resource allocation across products (both existing and new); work with Business Owners and technical teams on business case development and approvals
  • Proactively identify business needs and innovations, including business requirements and roadmap, and ensure execution via close coordination and project management with technical Product Managers
  • Collaborate with tech teams on product strategy, decisioning and product delivery within the Agile Teams, incl. with Technical / Engineering team on hands-on solution development and management of external development vendors
  • Support content creation tools as needed (i.e. Express)
  • Demonstrate excellence in product management by combining business and technology knowledge to develop and manage product roadmaps, define meaningful OKRs, and drive value and impact.
  • Align stakeholders, manage product roadmaps, coordinate user-acceptance testing, drive user adoption, and advocate for the product.
  • Conduct product ceremonies with technical and business partners to gather and prioritize outcomes and share progress.
  • Track engagement with the platform and analyze usage trends by function, geography, and business unit. Proactively share user engagement metrics and insights with Marketing and Digital leadership, identifying opportunities to deliver value throughout the organization.
  • Gather user engagement data, conduct research, and gather customer feedback to contribute to new and integrated solutions across the MarTech stack.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Adobe AEM in order to effectively identify and evaluate potential solution options.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment that promotes effective communication between development and business teams, ensuring a shared understanding of objectives and capabilities.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • A BA/BS with at least 8 years of experience, an MBA/MS with at least 7 years of experience, a PhD/JD with at least 5 years of experience, or an MD/DVM with at least 4 years of experience
  • Proven track record in managing extensive technology projects or platforms from inception to value realization
  • Deep comprehension of engineering, software development, and the technological management of solutions, tools, and platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence key partners and stakeholders indirectly through clear, concise, and well-crafted messages tailored to the audience
  • Experience in systems architecture, network systems, and application infrastructure
  • Ability to develop strategies for a diverse portfolio of products and projects
  • Expertise in fostering a culture of innovation to improve outcomes for patients and the healthcare industry

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $162,900.00 to $271,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
