Are you a creative and skilled individual with a passion for visual storytelling and sports? The Sherman Shadowcats are seeking a dynamic Video & Content Production Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of professional sports, contributing to our digital presence and fan engagement through compelling video and graphic content.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the organization, cataloging, and archiving of the 2026 photo and video library, ensuring easy accessibility for future use.
  • Produce engaging season recap videos, highlighting key moments, team achievements, and fan experiences.
  • Create compelling video and graphic content to showcase sponsor activations and recap partnership successes.
  • Develop dynamic player highlight reels and individual spotlight content for various digital platforms.
  • Produce and edit short-form video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) to increase engagement and reach.
  • Assist in the creation of promotional videos for upcoming games, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and organize a library of reusable video assets (e.g., intros, outros, lower thirds, motion graphics) for the 2027 season.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to align content with overall strategy.
  • Stay informed on current video trends and best practices in sports media to ensure fresh and relevant content.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and content creation for digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with camera operation and basic lighting/audio techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing media assets.
