Machine Maintenance Technician Pay Rate and Hours:
• $20.00 per hour plus, depending on experience
• 5 pm- 5 am and OT, preferably with the ability to train on day shift from 5 am-5 pm, Monday – Friday.

Job Summary:
The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our production equipment. This role involves the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of digital printers, inserters, bindery equipment, and facility systems, etc... The technician supports production uptime and contributes to our operational efficiency and commitment to excellence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain production machinery such as high-speed digital printing presses, inserters, cutters, folders, padding, and printers, etc...
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose the root cause, and restore operation quickly.
  • Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
  • Work closely with production supervisors and press operators to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal impact on production.
  • Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and relocations.
  • Collaborate with production operators/managers to identify recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term solutions
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain tools, parts inventory, and organized work areas.
  • Provide input to maintenance planning and equipment upgrade opportunities.
  • Provide input on equipment reliability and improvement opportunities.
  • Must be able to lift to 50lbs consistently.
  • Follow all Moore safety protocols and actively participate in company safety initiatives.
  • Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, and move about the facility
  • Work 12 hours a day on the 4/3 -3/4 schedule and Overtime as needed
  • Required to grip, twist, and turn both hands for long periods of time
  • Consistent and Reliable attendance is MANDATORY.
