Thomas Printworks is searching for a talented individual to work in our Operations team. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, fast learner with a 'can-do', positive, and cheerful attitude to join a stable company. The successful candidate will be a multitasker and possess the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This is a B&W Large Format Operator position based out of our Phoenix, Arizona location.

Duties and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for operating various copiers, printers, and scanners. Successful candidates must have superior customer service skills and prior print experience.

  • Organize and prepare documents for printing.
  • Organizes and prepares reflective originals for reproduction
  • Observe machines in operation and make adjustments as needed
  • May collate and index prints as scanned to set up for binding
  • Bind prints into sets according to customer specifications
  • Troubleshoots various black and white equipment to ensure optimum print capacity
  • Operates equipment and monitors work for high-quality black and white output and timeliness.
  • Scans documents using scanners and converts them to the specified file format.
  • Operate and maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Performs minor repairs and routine equipment maintenance, reports any equipment issues or failures
  • Proof the finished product for any errors
  • Assist with paperwork for the billing process
  • Other duties as assigned
