Job description

Position Description: Perform independently within a highly functional team environment while demonstrating high standards in quality, efficiency, and execution of work as it pertains to daily activities.

Digital Press Operator Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run digital printing and finishing equipment on which competency has been documented by the Production Manager, including Roland UV Versacam, Roland Soljet Gerber FX, Gerber Plotter, Vision Engraver, Zebra Printers, OKI Colorpainter, Matan Spring3, Graphtec Plotter, Vision Xante, and similar equipment listed on the Skills Matrix.
  • Performance of all scheduled maintenance operations as directed by the Production Manager
  • Diligent adherence to the First Article Sign Off (FASO) and related QMS Procedure(s)
  • Achievement of quality and productivity targets established by the Production Manager
  • Cooperation with all team members in the efficient execution of manufacturing processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S Principles.
  • Maintain a safe and injury free work environment.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Key Competencies:

  • Documented digital printing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Documented experience with layout and design software: Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Inkscape
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel and Outlook) and experience with an ERP system is preferred.

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
