What You'll Do

This position focuses on leading the daily operations of a growing clinical research site while driving business development, strengthening community partnerships, supporting patient recruitment initiatives, overseeing staff performance, and ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of the organization.

  • Business Development and Community Outreach: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with physicians, behavioral health providers, hospitals, medical practices, senior living communities, community organizations, and referral partners to increase awareness of our psychiatric services and clinical research programs while generating qualified patient referrals.
  • Clinical Research Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operational functions of the clinical research site by supporting workflow efficiency, ensuring operational readiness, collaborating with clinical leadership, and maintaining high standards of patient care and research excellence.
  • Community Education and Lunch & Learns: Organize and facilitate educational presentations, networking events, Lunch & Learn programs, and community outreach initiatives that educate healthcare professionals and referral partners on available clinical research opportunities, psychiatric services, and innovative treatment options.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with investigators, psychiatrists, coordinators, therapists, medical assistants, recruiters, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure operational alignment, effective communication, and achievement of organizational goals.
  • Operational Leadership and Staff Management: Lead, coach, and support clinical and administrative team members while partnering with internal leadership, Human Resources, and cross-functional departments to ensure effective staffing, employee development, operational consistency, accountability, and exceptional patient and staff experiences.
  • Patient Recruitment and Community Engagement: Develop and implement patient recruitment strategies through physician outreach, community engagement, referral development, educational events, digital initiatives, and relationship-building activities that support enrollment goals across multiple clinical research studies.
  • Quality Improvement and Operational Excellence: Continuously evaluate operational processes, recommend workflow improvements, monitor key performance indicators, and implement best practices that improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, staff performance, and study enrollment.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Organizational Standards: Support compliance with FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA requirements, IRB guidelines, organizational policies, and applicable regulatory standards while promoting ethical research conduct throughout the organization.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted ambassador for Health Haven and Health Synergy Clinical Research by building long-term professional relationships that strengthen the organization's reputation, expand referral networks, and create new business opportunities.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Identify new partnership opportunities, evaluate market trends, support business expansion efforts, and collaborate with leadership on initiatives that increase organizational growth, patient access, and research opportunities.
  • Other Duties as Assigned


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Life Sciences, Nursing, Clinical Research, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience within healthcare, behavioral health, or clinical research operations preferred.
  • Previous experience working in clinical research
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary healthcare or research teams preferred.
  • Experience conducting physician outreach, business development, healthcare marketing, or community engagement initiatives preferred.
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, and clinical research operations preferred.
  • Experience with patient recruitment and participant retention strategies preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience or proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
