Job description

Precision is an award-winning integrated strategy and marketing agency based in Washington, D.C., and New York, NY. Powered by data, we bring world-class experts in each of our service areas to conceive, develop, and run campaigns that help our clients seize opportunities and solve their biggest challenges.

We're at the center of today's biggest debates and defining moments, inside the Beltway, across New York's media and financial worlds, and in state capitals across the country. Our work sits at the intersection of politics, business, and culture, helping leaders and organizations make an impact when it matters most. We hire people who are the best at what they do, and who like to have fun doing it; we don't just break through. We break new ground.

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the paid advertising team. Team members in this position will have a hands-on role in crafting, executing, and measuring cutting-edge digital paid media strategies for clients ranging from political campaigns to nonprofit advocacy groups to corporate public affairs. You'll be a great fit for this position if you are resourceful, eager to take initiative, driven by curiosity, and have a passion for learning within a fast-paced collaborative team environment.

  • Able to support projects and work streams, taking ownership of defined tasks and contributing to team deliverables.

Collaboration

  • Engages across teams and works respectfully and effectively with others.
  • Communicates effectively in 1:1 or small groups and can deliver presentations to small internal audiences.
  • Contributes to team learning by sharing knowledge with peers and supporting new team members. Provides direction to interns as needed.

Project & Time Management

  • Owns assigned tasks (e.g. updates trackers, meets deadlines without reminders, organizes documents for team sharing, and understands how work ladders up to the larger goal).
  • Meets deadlines set by client lead.

Strategy

  • Drafts content (e.g. presentations, emails, social content, and/or presentations) with little to no writing errors. Seeks feedback and incorporates it into written work.
  • Knows resources to use when gathering information and is resourceful in finding answers on their own.
  • Conducts research to support problem-solving and strategic goals, knowing when to escalate issues.

Paid Media

  • Executes media plans understanding the strategy and goals of the campaign. Flags performance issues or discrepancies to senior team members and supports optimization tasks as directed.
  • Sets up self-serve and managed service campaigns and makes adjustments as needed. Updates finance trackers.
  • Pulls data and creates reports for multiple clients with little to no edits needed.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1+ years of professional experience in paid media strategy, planning, and/or execution, ideally in an in-house or agency setting. Internship experience considered.
  • Ability to see patterns in seas of data and passion for storytelling through digital analytics.
  • Familiarity with standard advertising audiences in the public affairs, advocacy, and political space
  • A resourceful, positive attitude and an eagerness to solve problems.
  • Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills - fluency with Excel a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, energetic, detail-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.

What We Will Give You:

  • Competitive salaries
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Flexible hybrid remote/in office plan
  • Retirement plan with automatic 3% safe-harbor contribution from Precision
  • Healthcare coverage - medical, dental and vision with 90% of costs covered by Precision
  • Paid vacation and sick leave
  • Paid parental leave
  • Floating holidays
  • Professional development stipend

We are currently working in a hybrid model and require staff to work in the office 50% of the working days in the month.

The salary range for this role is $58,500-62,000.
