Job description

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking an execution-focused Director of Digital Marketing to lead the performance, optimization, and growth of its multi‑channel marketing efforts. This role will drive patient acquisition, engagement, and brand visibility through a data‑driven, ROI‑focused approach across digital and traditional channels.

About the Company

Banyan Treatment Centers is a leading national provider of intensive treatment for individuals facing substance use and mental health disorders. Backed by TPG , one of the nation’s largest private equity investors, Banyan is rapidly expanding access to high‑quality, compassionate care across its national footprint and telehealth programming.

This is a high‑impact leadership opportunity within a rapidly growing, PE‑backed healthcare organization. As Director of Digital Marketing, you will:

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Executive Leadership, Business Development, Admissions, and Business Intelligence to translate organizational priorities into scalable marketing strategies
  • Operate as a hands‑on leader who moves seamlessly from strategy to execution while building alignment across teams
  • Own and scale marketing performance across a national platform
  • Drive measurable growth in patient acquisition and engagement
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape and execute growth strategy
  • Lead a critical function that directly supports access to life‑changing care
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, performance‑driven marketing strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Own and optimize all paid and organic marketing channels, including Google Ads, Meta, SEO, email, SMS, directories, and social media.
  • Drive measurable improvements in patient acquisition, conversion rates, and overall marketing ROI.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Business Development, Admissions, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align marketing efforts with operational and revenue goals.
  • Translate data and business insights into targeted, actionable campaigns that support admissions growth.
  • Establish clear reporting frameworks, analyze campaign performance, and communicate insights in a way that informs both executive decision‑making and day‑to‑day execution.
  • Manage and allocate marketing budgets with a strong focus on efficiency, accountability, and return on investment.
  • Guide content and brand strategy across web, social, and email to strengthen positioning and engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency and support reputation management efforts across platforms.
  • Lead and develop internal marketing team members while managing external agencies and partners as needed.
  • Build scalable processes and workflows that support growth while maintaining speed, quality, and alignment across teams.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • 2+ years of Healthcare marketing experience required; experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Demonstrated track record of owning marketing outcomes end‑to‑end, with direct accountability for performance and results (not solely advisory or consultative roles)
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to operate effectively across functions and levels of the organization
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing platforms including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO/SEM, and marketing automation tools
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Hands‑on leadership style with a focus on execution, accountability, and team development
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both executive leadership and operational teams
  • Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with evolving priorities
