Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator supports the digital execution needs of the Verdes marketing team. This is a detail-oriented, execution-focused role centered on keeping Verdes digital presence accurate, current, and visually consistent across ecommerce, menus, banners, social channels, and digital placements.

The core of the role is Dutchie menu and ecommerce management across all six Verdes locations, combined with digital asset production support and social content scheduling. This person ensures that what customers see online, on menus, and in digital placements reflects current products, promotions, and brand standards at all times.

This role reports formally to the CRO and receives day-to-day direction from the Creative Content and Marketing Operations Specialist. It is an excellent entry point for someone who wants to build a career in digital marketing, ecommerce, or marketing operations.

Core Responsibilities

Ecommerce and Menu Management

Own the accuracy and currency of all Verdes product listings across Dutchie and other ecommerce or menu platforms, including product names, descriptions, pricing, photography, and categorization.

Manage promotional and featured placement updates in Dutchie: deal tiles, banners, homepage placements, weekly specials, and active offers across all six store locations.

Coordinate new product launches across all digital menus, ensuring listings are complete and accurate before products go live.

Audit menu listings across all locations on a regular basis and flag discrepancies between inventory, pricing, and published information for resolution.

Support promotional pricing updates and ensure active deals and specials are accurate, live on time, and removed when expired.

Coordinate menu photography handoffs between the creative team and the platform, ensuring images are correctly formatted, uploaded, and assigned to the right products.

Digital Banner and Asset Production Support

Resize and reformat approved creative assets for Dutchie banners, website placements, digital display, and other digital channels according to platform specifications.

Produce basic promotional assets in Canva using established brand templates for recurring needs such as weekly deal graphics, digital menu headers, and featured placement visuals.

Maintain and organize the Canva creative asset library: tagging, archiving, and structuring files so the team can locate and reuse assets efficiently.

Coordinate file handoffs between the creative team and external vendors or platform upload requirements, ensuring correct formats, dimensions, and naming conventions.

Support photography coordination logistics including scheduling, file organization, and asset handoff to the appropriate platform or team member.

Social Content Scheduling and Reporting

Upload and schedule approved organic content across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Business Profiles according to the marketing team's content calendar.

Confirm that scheduled posts are live, correctly formatted, and free of errors before and after publishing.

Pull weekly and campaign-level performance reports from Meta and Google and distribute them to the marketing team in a consistent, organized format.

Flag performance anomalies or content issues to the Creative Content and Marketing Operations Specialist for review.

Marketing Administrative Support

Support physical marketing material pickup and store delivery on an as-needed basis.

Key Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.

Strong attention to detail: this role requires accuracy across product listings, pricing, and digital placements at all times.

Proficiency in Canva or willingness to become proficient quickly.

Comfortable with digital platforms and tools including Google Workspace, social media management, and basic spreadsheets.

Organized, self-directed, and able to manage recurring tasks without constant supervision.

Proactive communicator who flags issues early and follows through on commitments.

Preferred

Current or former Verdes retail team member with demonstrated performance and culture alignment.

Familiarity with Dutchie or comparable cannabis ecommerce and POS platforms.

Experience with social content scheduling platforms such as Later, Hootsuite, or native platform tools.

Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or Google Business Profile management.

Interest in digital marketing, ecommerce, or marketing operations as a career path.

Basic experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus but not required.

What Success Looks Like

Every Verdes product listing across all six locations is accurate, current, and visually consistent at all times.

Promotional placements and banners in Dutchie are live on time and removed when expired, without requiring follow-up from the marketing team.

Digital assets are correctly sized, formatted, and uploaded to the right platforms before campaign launch deadlines.

Approved social content is scheduled and published consistently according to the content calendar.

Weekly performance reports are distributed on time and in a clean, usable format.

The Canva library is organized well enough that any team member can find what they need without asking.

The Creative Content and Marketing Operations Specialist spends less time on digital execution tasks because this role handles them reliably.
