Job description

Take your career to the next level! In the last few years our goal has been expansion, creating growth opportunities for many of our team members. Not only are we serious about growth, but we are also serious about helping our customers during hard financial times.
We take pride in providing solutions and offering a helping hand, not only to our customers but also to the communities we serve. As we continue to expand and grow into a national leader in consumer financing, we invite you to consider joining our team.
If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact in people's lives and bringing a personal touch to finance, we'd love to have you on board!
Job purpose
We're seeking an innovative and data-driven Director of Digital Marketing to lead the transformation of our digital presence-specifically how consumers discover, interact with, and originate loans through our digital ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to build and scale a modern digital funnel from the ground up within a fast-paced, mission-driven consumer finance organization.
If you have deep experience in consumer lending, fintech, or digital financial products, and thrive at the intersection of strategy, technology, and customer experience, this role is for you.
Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Leadership
  • Build and own the end-to-end digital marketing strategy to accelerate growth across all lending products.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a digital marketing team, including hiring, training, and performance management to foster innovation and efficiency.
  • Lead the transformation of our digital loan origination experience-improving conversion, reducing friction, and driving high-quality applications.
  • Partner closely with Product, Pricing, Data, Technology, Credit, and Compliance to deliver an optimized, compliant, and customer-centric digital journey.
  • Strengthen our digital presence by crafting compelling branding initiatives, content strategies, and multi-channel campaigns that resonate with target audiences in personal lending.
  • Manage marketing budgets, vendor relationships, and agency partnerships to ensure cost-effective execution and scalable growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in digital marketing, financial services, and lending to innovate and adapt strategies for current and future channels.

Customer Acquisition & Growth
  • Lead the development and implementation of an AI-enabled digital marketing strategy across acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Develop and scale multi-channel digital acquisition programs, including paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, affiliate, SEO, AIO, and emerging channels.
  • Create and test full-funnel strategies focused on improving cost per funded loan, application-to-fund conversion, and lifetime value.

Analytics & Optimization
  • Build a measurement framework that connects marketing performance to loan production metrics.
  • Drive continuous optimization through experimentation, A/B testing, segmentation, and funnel analysis.
  • Identify opportunities across the digital experience to accelerate speed to decision and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing digital marketing team.
  • Collaborate with analytics, UX, and engineering teams to implement enhancements (attribution, automation, personalization).
  • Serve as a strategic voice in senior leadership discussions around digital growth, customer insights, and product innovation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience, including significant time in consumer finance, lending, or fintech.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling digital marketing teams, with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through multi-channel campaigns.
  • Deep expertise in full-funnel optimization and performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience using LLM or other AI tools within digital marketing strategies
  • Strong understanding of digital loan origination or similar high-compliance digital funnels.
  • Experience leading teams and managing agency/vendor relationships.
  • Strong branding acumen with experience developing and maintaining a robust online digital presence, including website optimization and social media strategy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of traffic generation tactics, including SEO (search engine optimization), remarketing, paid media, and emerging channels like voice search, AI-optimized content, and influencer partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building digital acquisition engines from the ground up.
  • Background in regulated industries with a strong grasp of compliance and risk requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort presenting data to executive leadership.
