About the Role

TheDirector of Digital Strategy & Digital Marketing Managerwill lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies for Knorr Marketing clients. This position combines strategic thinking, campaign management, analytics, client leadership, and team management.

The role will be responsible for developing digital strategies, overseeing campaign performance, managing client relationships, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities to improve performance and grow client relationships.

This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who understands how to connectaudience, message, media, creative, data, and business objectivesinto effective marketing strategies.

Job Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies based on client goals, target audiences, budgets, and business objectives.
  • Build strategies across paid social, paid search, display, programmatic, retargeting, email, SEO, content, and other digital platforms.
  • Develop audience targeting strategies and identify opportunities to reach consumers throughout the customer journey.
  • Translate business objectives into measurable digital marketing goals and KPIs.
  • Develop campaign plans, media strategies, budgets, timelines, and performance expectations.
  • Stay current on changes in digital advertising platforms, consumer behavior, technology, privacy, and emerging marketing opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate digital marketing with traditional media, creative, promotions, events, and other marketing initiatives.

Campaign Management & Optimization

  • Oversee the development, launch, management, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and results.
  • Analyze metrics including impressions, reach, engagement, clicks, conversions, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, website activity, lead generation, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Make data-driven recommendations regarding audience targeting, creative, budget allocation, media mix, and campaign strategy.
  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure campaigns are implemented accurately and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues and proactively identify problems before they impact performance.

Client Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a strategic marketing resource and trusted advisor to clients.
  • Lead client strategy conversations and marketing planning sessions.
  • Present campaign strategies, recommendations, insights, and performance results to clients.
  • Turn marketing data into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Develop strong relationships with key client contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through additional marketing strategies and services.
  • Position Knorr Marketing as an extension of the client’s team rather than simply a marketing vendor.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and oversee client reporting that clearly communicates campaign performance.
  • Turn complex marketing data into simple, actionable insights.
  • Identify trends and opportunities through performance analysis.
  • Establish benchmarks and KPIs for campaigns.
  • Provide recommendations based on performance rather than simply reporting numbers.
  • Help demonstrate the business impact and ROI of Knorr Marketing’s work.

Team Management & Leadership

  • Serve as a day-to-day resource for the digital team, helping answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance when needed.
  • Help remove roadblocks and make sure the team has the support and direction they need to be successful.
  • Be willing to jump in and provide hands‑on support when workloads are high, coverage is needed, or the team needs additional help.
  • Manage and provide direction to digital marketing team members, contractors, vendors, and partners as appropriate.
  • Establish priorities, deadlines, processes, and expectations for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Review campaign strategy and execution to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Help develop best practices and processes for Knorr Marketing’s digital marketing services.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to their professional development.
  • Coordinate with creative, account management, media, and other team members to ensure campaigns work together effectively.

Agency Growth & Innovation

  • Help Knorr Marketing continue to expand and improve its digital marketing capabilities.
  • Research emerging platforms, technologies, advertising opportunities, and marketing tools.
  • Evaluate new opportunities for reaching consumers and generating measurable results.
  • Help develop new digital marketing products, services, packages, and strategies.
  • Participate in new business development and sales presentations when appropriate.
  • Assist with proposals, presentations, campaign recommendations, and strategic marketing plans.
  • Help position Knorr Marketing as a forward-thinking digital marketing partner.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, media, agency, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of paid social, paid search, display/programmatic advertising, retargeting, and digital audience targeting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience interpreting marketing performance data and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the customer journey and full-funnel marketing.
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining hands‑on with execution.

  • Agency experience.
