Job Description

Purpose:
Leads the end-to-end development, industrialization, and optimization of manufacturing processes and engineered components to achieve best-in-class performance in cost, quality, and delivery. Bridges product engineering and manufacturing to ensure robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions across the product lifecycle. Demonstrates proactive leadership by guiding teams toward achieving organizational goals, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Product Development & Industrialization: Support development and validation of remanufactured products and components.
• Ensure product designs meet manufacturability, cost, and reliability targets.
• Lead product industrialization from concept through production release.
• Drive engineering changes across the product lifecycle.
• Process Performance & Optimization: Improve first pass yield, reduce scrap and rework, and optimize cycle time.
• Develop, validate, and standardize manufacturing processes and parameters.
• Conduct process capability studies and drive process stability.
• Implement Lean methodologies to enhance operational performance.
• Technical Problem Solving: Lead structured problem solving (RCA, 8D, PFMEA, Control Plans).
• Perform failure analysis linking product performance to manufacturing conditions.
• Cost & Productivity Leadership: Drive cost reduction through process optimization and product design improvements.
• Develop labor standards, capacity models, and productivity improvement plans.
• Equipment & Automation: Support equipment specification, selection, and optimization.
• Drive automation and digital solutions to improve process control and visibility.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
• 3–5+ years of experience in product and/or manufacturing engineering
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of machining, functional testing and assembly processes

• Knowledge of Diesel fuel system or aftertreatment system

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with new product introduction (NPI) and industrialization
• Knowledge of automation systems and controls
• Experience with CNC machining and tooling design
• Familiarity with digital manufacturing tools and data analytics
• Experience with remanufacturing
• Ability to program Cognex or Keyence vision cameras.
• Know-ledge how to program Rexroth torque controller.
