Ragan Communications is seeking a digital-first designer with hands-on experience creating engaging, user-friendly digital experiences to join our creative team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in digital design, web design, and visual storytelling who understands how smart design can drive engagement, improve user experiences, and support business goals. You'll bring experience creating digital assets across websites, emails, landing pages, marketing campaigns, video, and AI-powered workflows, while also supporting presentations, reports, event materials, and other branded assets across the company.
We're looking for someone who is curious, motivated, and excited to help push our creative work forward. The ideal candidate stays current with digital design trends, emerging tools, and AI-enabled workflows, and is eager to bring fresh ideas and modern design approaches to the team.
What You'll Do
  • Design digital assets including websites, emails, landing pages, banners and marketing campaigns
  • Apply UX/UI best practices to create user-friendly and engaging digital experiences
  • Create presentations, reports and branded materials using Adobe InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint and AI-powered tools that improve efficiency and workflow
  • Assist with design, print production and layout projects, including reports, signage, event materials and other branded collateral
  • Produce video, motion graphics and training content as needed
  • Use tools such as Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Lovable and AI platforms to enhance creative output, improve efficiencies and support digital innovation
  • Develop creative assets supporting conferences, awards, memberships, training programs, research launches and subscription products
  • Contribute to projects from concept through execution, helping turn ideas into effective creative solutions
  • Bring fresh ideas, design inspiration and emerging AI trends to the team
  • Partner closely with the Creative Director on projects across digital, print and experiential channels
