Job description

Jack Flash is a growing, family-owned retailer headquartered in Effingham, IL. We operate 18 store locations which include convenience stores, truck stops, liquor stores, and car washes.
Position Summary
This position is an internship or part-time position. The purpose of this position is to assist the Jack Flash marketing team in managing Jack Flash's online and in-store marketing strategy. This position will perform a variety of functions including creating content (digital and print), performing website updates, and managing Jack Flash's social media presence. This position would be suited for someone with an interest in digital marketing and/or graphic design, and this role will require an average of 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create graphics for multiple platforms including social media, website, our new mobile app, and in-store signage using Adobe Suite products
  • Manage content creation for our digital screen displays at our most recently constructed stores in Altamont, IL and Pana, IL
  • Write and proofread material to be published with content on all platforms
  • Assist with the management of Jack Flash's social media accounts including Facebook and Instagram
  • Work with our web-hosting service to complete website updates
  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Desired Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Available remotely and/or in office for a combined total of 20 hours per week
  • Basic knowledge and/or previous experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in Adobe Suite products required
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required
