File Digitization Clerk - Human Resources

Ready to Get Your Foot in the Door in Human Resources?

If you're organized, dependable, comfortable with technology, and the type of person who notices the details others miss, this could be a great opportunity for you.

We're looking for a File Digitization Clerk to join a Human Resources team for a short-term project focused on converting employee records from paper files into an organized electronic system.

You do not need previous HR experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who can follow a process, work accurately, protect confidential information, and take pride in getting the job done right.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to Human Resources operations, Workday, electronic records management, document digitization, and corporate administrative processes.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play an important role in helping the HR team modernize and organize employee records. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Scanning paper employee files into electronic format
  • Reviewing scanned documents to make sure they are clear, complete, and readable
  • Labeling and organizing electronic files using established naming conventions
  • Uploading documents to shared drives and designated electronic folders
  • Attaching documents to the appropriate employee records in Workday
  • Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic employee files
  • Performing basic data entry, filing, document sorting, and administrative support
  • Identifying missing, incomplete, or unclear documents and bringing them to your supervisor's attention
  • Following established procedures for records management and document handling
  • Protecting confidential and sensitive employee information at all times
What We're Looking For

You don't need an extensive resume for this opportunity. The right person will bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills and comfort navigating electronic files and folders
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Comfort using scanners, copiers, and standard office equipment
