Job description

Assistant CNC Operator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant CNC Operator to join our team in a unique fabrication environment. You'll work with cutting-edge digital fabrication equipment and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced production setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation of CNC machinery and digital fabrication equipment
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of fabricated parts through careful attention to detail
  • Work closely with the team to maintain efficient production workflows
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Continuously learn new skills and technologies related to digital fabrication
  • Safety: Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations by all employees
  • Quality: Assure all decks are checked and identified properly
  • Productivity: Maintain utilization specified by supervisor and/or lead
  • Coordinates: Communicate with other operators on any issues or shortages to supervisor or lead
  • Team player and willing to work closely with others
  • Dexterity: Employee would work with their hands, and need to be able to lift or hold heavy items
  • Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

  • Prior Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Some experience with CNC machinery or digital fabrication preferred

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
