Seldin Company is seeking a Lead Apartment Maintenance Technician at The View at Huxley Yards apartment community in Madison, WI. This is a Tax credit property with 303 units. This position will offer a competitive hourly pay rate, determined by experience, certifications, skills, and education.
  • Hiring Bonus: $2000
    • $1,000 after 90 days of employment
    • $1,000 after 6 months of employment
  • Retention Bonus: $2,000 after 1 year of employment

What You Will Do
The Lead Apartment Maintenance Technician will diagnose and perform major, minor, and routine maintenance/repairs and provide exceptional customer service to the community's residents.
Skills and Requirements
  • Maintenance experience
  • Three to four years of related experience or training
  • Knowledge of appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical
  • Ability to work independently
  • EPA or HVAC certification is required
  • Tolerance to all extremes of hot and cold weather
  • Be available for on-call maintenance schedule
