Join one of the Washington area's premier fee-for-service periodontal and dental implant practices and help drive the growth of an industry-leading specialty office.
You'll build relationships with dentists throughout the region, organize educational events, collaborate directly with our doctor, and play a key role in expanding one of the fastest-growing specialty practices in the area.
Our boutique, fee-for-service practice combines concierge-level patient care, advanced microsurgical techniques, digital technology, and exceptional clinical outcomes to create an experience unlike any other. Led by Dr. Eugenia Prokopets, a Board Certified Periodontist and nationally recognized educator, our mission is simple: deliver extraordinary care while building lifelong relationships with both patients and referring doctors.
As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for a Business Development Manager to help expand our referral network and strengthen relationships with the dentists who trust us with their patients.
If you love building relationships, enjoy working independently, and want to play a meaningful role in growing an innovative healthcare practice, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
This is not a traditional marketing position.
As our Strategic Growth Partner, you will serve as the face of our practice throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, building meaningful relationships with general dentists and specialists while helping position Prokopets Perio as the premier destination for periodontal and implant care.
You'll work directly with Dr. Prokopets to develop growth strategies, create memorable educational experiences, and build partnerships that positively impact both referring doctors and their patients.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare business development, dental sales, physician relations, or medical device sales who wants greater autonomy, purpose, and long-term career growth.
What You'll Do
  •  Build and strengthen relationships with referring dentists throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia
  •  Visit dental offices to educate providers on our services and identify opportunities for collaboration
  •  Plan and execute continuing education programs, study clubs, workshops, and referral appreciation events
  •  Partner with Dr. Prokopets on strategic initiatives that drive sustainable practice growth
  •  Develop creative outreach and marketing initiatives that enhance the practice's visibility
  •  Track referral trends, analyze growth opportunities, and measure results
  •  Represent the practice with professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for patient care
Who You Are
You are someone who naturally builds trust and enjoys creating lasting professional relationships.
You are self-motivated, organized, and energized by helping others succeed.
You don't simply "check in" with clients—you become a valued partner.
You may currently work in:
  •  Healthcare Business Development
  •  Medical Device Sales
  •  Dental Implant Sales
  •  Physician Liaison
  •  Provider Relations
  •  Dental Territory Management
  •  Practice Development
  •  Healthcare Marketing
Experience in dentistry or healthcare is preferred but not required for the right relationship-driven professional.
Why Join Prokopets Perio?
You'll join a practice that is growing quickly while remaining deeply committed to exceptional patient care and team culture. We believe our people are our greatest investment. Here you'll enjoy:
  •  Competitive base salary plus uncapped quarterly performance bonuses
  •  Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  •  Retirement plan with employer contribution
  •  Paid time off and paid holidays
  •  Paid parking
  •  Continuing education and professional development
  •  Direct mentorship from an entrepreneurial practice owner
  •  Leadership development opportunities
  •  Team events and appreciation experiences
  •  Complimentary periodontal care for immediate family members (materials costs only)
What Makes This Opportunity Different
This is an opportunity to work alongside a respected specialist who is passionate about mentorship, innovation, and building an extraordinary team. You'll have the freedom to develop relationships your way, contribute ideas that will be implemented, and directly influence the continued growth of a premier specialty practice.
As the practice expands, this position offers significant opportunity for future leadership and career advancement. If you're looking for more than just another sales or marketing position—and want to help build something exceptional—we'd love to hear from you.
